Keto Diet: Carb-Free Dieting

0 carbs ever! Are you crazy? Well actually, yes. Yes I am. The Keto diet is sweeping the nation and for a good reason. It’s amazing in what it can do. Unlike previous 0 carb diets, the keto diet helps your body make particular molecules called ketone bodies from fat which fuel your brain. The brain is run almost exclusively on carbohydrates, but the rise and fall of blood sugar results in mood and energy fluctuations and disturbances. With the Keto diet, fuel is constant and steady so mood and energy are as well. Your body runs like a perfect machine and uses your body fat for fuel after a 2-6 week keto adaptation period. The trick is 80% of your calories come from fat! I know right! That sounds ridiculous, but it’s why all other 0 carb diets have failed in the past. By having a moderate amount of protein the liver you just convert your protein into carbs and you never convert over to Ketosis. If you want endless energy, to burn fat, and to be as healthy as humanly possible the keto diet is for you!
